Do you take my insurance?

Dental insurance policies help many people effectively budget for the cost of maintaining a great smile. Most dental policies are straightforward and specific regarding what procedures are covered and exactly how much you may have to pay out of pocket. Dental insurance is available as part of a medical insurance plans or as a stand alone policy.

Regarding most professionals, dentistry is a cash business. Therefore, dentists generally "do not take insurance or accept" insurances. Not all dentists are the same. So, if you are considering a dentist just on the notion that they "take" your insurance, that might not be a good idea.

Dr. Gary Green is an "out of network" dental professional. What does that mean?

It means that we DO NOT have a contractural relationship with the insurance companies. We DO NOT have to abide by their restrictions, standards or fees. We DO NOT have a financial stake with insurance companies. Most importantly, if your insurance only allows (for instance) 2 cleanings per year, that doesn't matter to us. We will try to use your insurance to cover as much as possible including additional cleanings if needed.

We can treat you more effectively with extreme quality of care. We will always try to get the maximum from your insurance plan. Our goal is to get you the best care and treatment. As an added convenience, we are happy to submit your claims on your behalf.

To learn more about your personal dental situation, we encourage patients to come in for a free consultation. Call       973-228-0252 or visit our website:
